The dosage for patients with moderate symptoms of podagra is 200-300 mg/day taken mouth, the dosage for patients with severe podagric symptoms is 400-600 mg/day. The daily dose could be taken at once or divided into two and taken in the morning and evening. Dose exceeding 300 mg is not recommended to take once to avoid side effects such as stomach disorders.
