Noroxin treats all infections possible
Noroxin is used for treating urogenital infections (pyelonephritis, cystitis, urethritis, noncomplicated gonorrhea, prostatitis, cervicitis, endometritis, etc.), gastro-intestinal tract infections (salmonellosis, shigellosis, traveler diarrhea), eye infections; infection prophylaxis in patients with hypogranulocytosis. Norfloxacin works best for urinary tract infections and gastro-intestinal infections. It also very effective for gonorrhea and chronic prostatitis. The single dose for peroral taking varies from 400 to 800 mg taken 1-2 times a day.The duration of the treatment course is 7-14 day. The duration of the treatment course for gonorrhea is 3-5 days and 4-6 weeks for chronic prostatitis. Noroxin is also used for treating external otitis, acute otitis media, otitis media chronica and infection prophylaxis during auditory organ surgeries. Other infections Noroxin is used for are the following: conjunctivitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, helcoma, blepharitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, meibomitis (barley), dacryocystitis; eye infection prophylaxis after removing of a foreign body from cornea, after eye surgeries or chemical eye injuries.
